French defense procurement agency (DGA) presented at an international arms exhibition Eurosatory- two thousand and twelve in Paris, ground robot MINIROGEN, designed to find mines.This was reported on the site office .Robot MINIROGEN (Cobra Mktwo) developed by ECA Robotics at the four-wheel base, weighs about six pounds and is controlled remotely.Thanks to its compact size the robot can even search for explosives underneath the car .The robot is equipped with multiple cameras, lighting , and can operate in daylight and at night .MINIROGEN able to perform tasks within a radius of two hundred and fifty meters from the operator for up to two and a half hours.Cobra Mktwo video presentation can be viewed at the website reported ssylkeKak DGA, in December two thousand and eleven the French Ministry of Defense ordered from ECA Robotics twenty-nine robotics MINIROGEN.In addition to the French engineers robots are in service with several countries including the United States and Israel.
