China has offered to Russian gas monopoly "Gazprom" to participate in the distribution of gas in the country.On it informs RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev.He said that the government of China offered "integrated approach" , under which Russia will not only supply gas to the country , but also engaged in its distribution and marketing.Medvedev said that currently " Gazprom" is studying the proposal.He also said that China proposes to "Gazprom" participation in the construction of underground gas storage (UGS) in the country.According to the deputy chief of the Department of Transportation, Underground Storage and Utilization of "Gazprom" Sergei Khan , the parties shall consider the establishment of a joint venture in this field.China has a Russian company in the joint venture forty-nine percent of the shares.The cost of construction of underground gas storage is about one hundred dollars per thousand cubic meters.Storage needed by China tenfold difference between consumption in the winter and summer.Russia and China for about two years can not agree on the terms of gas supply .In late January, the head of "Gazprom" Alexei Miller said that the parties remained only to settle the issue price .Gas supplies to China should be around sixty-eight billion cubic meters a year.
